AT THE CAPE BRETON FARMERS' MARKET
My name is Steve Purcell and many call me El BagEl.
We make the best bagels on the island or so it has been said.
We hand roll our bagels which are made with either organic whole grains
or unbleached white flour, topped with sesame seeds, poppy seeds or both.
Grain and seed breads.
Our bagels are available all year.
We use the best organic ingredients including kamut &
spelt flour & organic cane sugar & sea salt.
There is no fat used in any part of the process of making our bagels.
El BagEl is a family business originally started as a Christmas Vacation
project
by our daughters in 2005.
We took up the challenge & many, many bagels later, we're still at it!
We take pride in the quality of our product
& love that we have such loyal customers.
Besides selling at the Cape Breton Farmers' Market in Sydney,
customers can order from us directly.
