We invite you to visit us any Saturday, year round, at the Cape Breton Farmers' Market when you are in the Sydney area. The market is held at the Marine Terminal, the home of the BIG FIDDLE.

An entrepreneur at heart, I am confident you'll agree that our jams and jellies are the best you've ever tasted. Many people who stop at our booth can't resist buying a couple of jars. You will be amazed when you try our jams, jellies or pickles.
We started with 6 kinds of jams and added additional flavours as time went by. We now offer a wide variety of mouthwatering flavors and we are always on the lookout for new ideas.
There is still nothing more satisfying than having your pantry stocked with homemade preserves; delicate jellies, luscious jams, tangy spiced vegetables and piquant pickles.
I had been making jams, jellies and preserves for my family for many years, always making sure they had goodies on the table. Creating delicious and intensely flavorful homemade preserved foods has always been a pleasure.
Imagine a thick slice of bread with homemade jam or jelly on it. You can enjoy the delicious goodness even in the dead of winter with homemade preserves.
We do not use glucose, citric acid or preservatives in any of our homemade jams, jellies or preserves.
We also have more fruit than sugar in our jams. In most jams we use a 10-6 ratio of fruit to sugar. This approach allows the natural flavor of the fruit itself to come forward, without being marred by overpowering sweetness.
All our jams, jellies and preserves are made in small quantities using standard kitchen equipment.
To spice up bland dishes try using preserves instead of rich sauces. Chicken and ham are great coated with Jamaican Fig Jam.
Our jams and jellies are perfect complements for homemade breads, bagels and muffins.
For the holiday season we prepare a wide selection of sugar reduced jams and jellies in Gift Set. These can be arranged into beautiful baskets, or in sets of 2 or 3, 125 ml. jar packages.
NO BAKE ALMOND PEACH CHEESE CAKE
Ingredients
1 9 inch graham cracker pie crust
1/3 cup sugar
1 8 oz. container of frozen whipped cream
1 package of cream cheese, softened
Mix cream cheese and sugar together with a mixer until well blended and creamy.
Stir in thawed whipped cream. Spread into crust and refrigerate for 3 hours
Top with Almond Peach Jam or any other Jam.
